The MBTI or the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a personality inventory test that allows individuals to understand their own behavior as well as that of their team mates. The essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in the behavior is actually quite orderly and consistent, being due to basic differences in the ways individuals prefer to use their perception and judgment.
In using MBTI as a Team Building activity, participants will discover their own personality type, understand the strength and weakness of each personality type (including their own) and then learn how to make adjustments to work well as a team. For team leaders, the MBTI training will enable them to better manage their teams by assigning tasks that match the personality types of each team member.
